About Us
First opened in 1960 by Bob and Marilyn Fierson, Fierson’s has become a bona-fide Bronxville institution. Renowned for the quality and selection of its clothes, the store has garnered a reputation for being "the place" for Bronxville residents looking for clothes with classic styling, impeccable tailoring and fine fabrics. A destination store for those with discriminating tastes, Fierson’s also routinely sees customers from neighboring towns such as Scarsdale, Larchmont and Rye and neighboring states including Connecticut and New Jersey.
Our online presence now gives customers who are not within driving distance (or who prefer to do their shopping in their pajamas!) an opportunity to buy what others covet; to see and select first-hand the very best looks and gifts of each season.
The selections you will find in the store and on these pages has changed significantly over the years; while maintaining the quality and uniqueness of the clothing, current owner, Adrian East, definitely took it “up a notch” when she bought the Fierson name and legacy in late 2002. A former Wall-Street executive with a financial, IT and marketing background, Adrian decided to focus on bringing in the designer styles and looks that can’t be found in the malls of America and the big-box stores. She focuses on the special, the unique. Adrian likes to say that her most important role is that of editing; she does the editing for you so you don’t have to sort through the ordinary and mundane!
While maintaining the quality and integrity for which Fierson’s was always known, Adrian embarked on a major expansion in terms of the selection and volume of clothing carried. She brought in many new, upscale Italian and French lines such as Lili Gaufrette, Petit Bateau, and Il Gufo. While still maintaining her core of traditional styles, she also brought in some more high-fashion, trendier items from manufacturer’s such as Jottum and Wheat.
Most recently, Adrian has more than quadrupled the store’s christening selections and has adding classic dresses for first communion from Joan Calabrese and Little Princess.
Also expanded is the store’s selection of baby gifts which include sterling silver selections, furniture and some bedding. Either in our new store at 122 Kraft Avenue in Bronxville or online, Fierson’s mission remains undiluted: to offer quality merchandise to customers who want their children dressed like children, not like miniature adults. Whether you are looking for classic, traditional children’s clothing or fashion forward, trendy styles, you will find a selection that is always tasteful and speaks to a refined elegance that is hard to come by these days!
We strive to offer quality merchandise to customers who want their children impeccably dressed.
We are intent on valuing each customer and earning their trust and respect. To that end, we give you our assurance that we will endeavor to make your shopping experience as informed and enjoyable as possible. We know and love the merchandise that makes it way to the store or on to the site and are happy to pass along our enthusiasm and knowledge to you. Please feel free to contact us via email or phone so that our "personal shoppers" can assist you in making the best possible purchasing decision. Be prepared though, we will not only answer your questions, we will more often than not add in our own expert advice to help you decide on the style and selection that best meets your needs!
We hope you enjoy shopping at Fiersons.
